INDOOR CLIMBING:
Indoors climbing courses are simply the most convenient and efficient way to gain climbing skills. Having myriad climbing routes and features close at hand in a climate-controlled environment makes learning easy.
Our progressive climbing curriculum provides an orderly approach to developing climbing skills and is taught by professional instructors. In fact, the Colorado Mountain School and the Boulder Rock Club have more AMGA certified guides and instructors than any other program in the country.
ADULT PROGRAMS:
Our adult climbing programs include something for everyone. From the beginner new to the gym to the experienced climber we have a program to meet your educational and training needs. Course include: Intro to Climbing, Women’s Intro to Climbing, Belay Basics, Intermediate Technique, Learn to Lead, AMGA/CWA Climbing Wall Instructor Courses.
FAMILY PROGRAMS:
Have fun and learn to climb! Climbing is a great way for the family to spend time together. Boulder Rock Club and Colorado Mountain School view climbing as a continuum of learning and life-shaping experiences and one of the very best ways for a family to gain confidence and a new level of trust.
Indoor or Outdoor
We can tailor a program or outing to meet your family’s needs – from a one-hour lesson in the gym to a full day of fun on the rock. Things such as age, fitness levels, experience, etc. will be used to determine what’s right for your gang. Whether your family wants to try indoor climbing for the first time or go outside and make an ascent of the First Flatiron, we’ll make it right for you.
YOUTH PROGRAMS:
Climbing is the best way for a child to gain confidence. From the first time we put your child into a harness, we lead him or her on a path that is safe, effective, and rewarding.
We employ guides and instructors who believe in helping kids achieve their dreams and view each class as a child’s stepping stone. After all, the most basic definition of climbing is upward movement.
Climbing is an individual sport which allows students to grow at his or her own pace. Our courses cater to each individual’s needs and are taught in a highly supportive group environment. Any level of climber will be challenged but not overwhelmed.
We offer after-school programs, summer camps, and private lessons for all ages and abilities. Many of the best climbers in the world started when they were kids- when it’s all about fun.
ABC For Kids:
The best. One of a kind. World famous. Overused phrases, but absolutely accurate when it comes to describing Robyn Erbesfield and her ABC for KIDS program.
Robyn’s resume and skills are truly world class. But it is her enthusiasm and innate ability to connect with people that leave the biggest impression. If you want to build your child’s confidence and coordination, get her involved with ABC for KIDS.
ABC for KIDS develops physical, mental and social skills in children ages 2-6 through athletic movement and group activities. Programs are offered seven days a week, and low student-to-instructor ratios allow program adaptation for each child’s ability. ABC for KIDS also offers birthday parties, summer camps, workshops and team activities.
